DESCRIPTION/ DEFINITION

A Polyvinylchloride (PVC) film that is backed with an adhesive that will create a strong bond to a surface when pressure is applied.

A vinyl film designed for interior use with dry erase type markers.

A luminous vinyl film that "glows in the dark". Luminance glows for up to six hours and takes three minutes of exposure to sunlight, or fluorescent and incandescent light to recharge.

A vinyl film with very small glass or glass-like materials encapsulated below its surface, creating the ability to bounce, or reflect, light beams back towards their source.

A vinyl film with removable pressure sensitive adhesive.

A highly plasticized vinyl film. The plasticizer enables the material to temporarily, but firmly, adhere to glass and similar smooth substrates. (also known as Electrostatic film.)

CHARACTERISTICS

Vinyl film is generally softer than polyester and can stretch and/or tear. Vinyl will conform to curved surfaces and minor surface irregularities.

May be written on repeatedly; wipes clean with dry tissue or dry erase cleaning fluid. Resistant to mild acids, alkalis, salts, and most petroleum based oil, grease and aliphatic solvents.

No heavy metals or radioactive materials used in the manufacture of this product. Luminosity meets International Maritime Organization A.752 (18). Dimensionally stable, durable, for use on flat or simple curved surfaces; moderate chemical and stain resistance.

Similar daytime and nighttime appearance. Retains 90% of its retro-reflectivity when totally wet. Will moderately conform to irregular surfaces. Offers long outdoor life.

For up to 2 years after application, the film can be removed from most surfaces leaving little or no adhesive residue and without the aid of chemicals, accessories, or heat.

FLAMMABILITY

.002" thick, white vinyl film has been tested for flame spread per ASTM E84-95, "Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials," and meets the requirements of National Fire Protection Association Class A (1) (most fire-resistant class) as defined in NFPA 101, "Life Safety Code."
